Darwin Harbour Cruises have two luxuriously restored vessels, the “Charles Darwin” and the “Tumlaren”. We offer a wide range of harbour cruises to suit all budgets and tastes. The “Charles Darwin” is a 25-metre tri-level Catamaran, offering a range of harbour cruises and all the facilities of a floating restaurant. The delicious meals are prepared on board by the top quality staff and only the freshest Australian Seafood and local products are used. Our experienced crew share interesting and informative commentary on the sites and rich history of Darwin Harbour, Cyclone Tracey and WWII. Both vessels are available for private charter.
In June 2003 Cape Adieu Harbour Cruises, a family operated business, was established and since then we have provided sunset dinner cruises, private functions, charters and wedding reception services to over 100,000 guests.
Our Sunset Dinner Cruise operates March to December annually, offering a boutique dining experience aboard our 22m traditional fishing ketch. Seating for 50 passengers over 3 separate decks ensures maximum dining comfort. Our chef-prepared menu begins with home-made dips, the Territory’s freshest wild caught local seafood including Gulf Banana Prawns, hickory smoked Spanish Mackerel (signature dish), freshly shucked Coffin Bay Oysters, local fish of the day and Scotch Fillet steaks. Fresh salads and crusty bread complement your meal. Italian espresso coffee, selection of tea and a fresh fruit platter conclude your dining experience.
BYO/fully licensed bar, ice and eskies provided.

Ensure you get the best sunset vista by heading out onto the water on this cruise across Darwin Harbour. Aboard a large, ocean-going catamaran with plenty of deck space, sit under the sails or in the air-conditioned salon and toast the setting sun with a glass of Champagne before enjoying a tapas/barbecue dinner while soaking up the views—if you wish, you can bring your own drinks and keep them chilled in the on board coolers.

Your journey begins at serious speed with Jetboat ride across Darwin Harbour towards our city’s pristine coastline. After some supercharged spins and a cruise along the mangroves you’ll jump onto the airboat for the next round of run.
Enjoy the local birdlife and keep an eye out in the waters below for sharks, crocs, dolphins and even stingrays as the V8 engine powers you across the mud for some sideway slides and 360 whirls. After all the thrills and getting a little muddied up, you will jump back on the jetboat and soar across the Timor Sea, returning to Dock 1 for the end of an action-packed hour.
